Today’s selection is Kommt her zu mir, spricht Gottes Sohn (Come to me, says God’s son), by Johann Pachelbel. This piece comes in at about two minutes and I played it on a single manual along with pedals.

Giubiasco Organ
I used the Giubiasco organ sample set running on Hauptwerk. This organ is one of several free sets made available by Piotr Grabowski.
A little bit about this organ. It hails from the Parish Church Santa Maria Assunta di Giubiasco. The organ was built by company of Mascioni in 2008. The parish church of Giubiasco, is located near Bellinzona in Switzerland The organ features two manuals and a pedal keyboard. Specific details can be found on Piotr Grabowski’s website.
Registration
For this piece, I used a principal chorus registration. From the Grande Organo manual, I selected:
| Principale 8′ Ottava 4′ Quintadecima 2′ The pedal division engaged the Flauto 8′ stop along with the Grande Organo manual coupled to the pedals. My console is a Hammond XK-5. The organ triggers Hauptwerk running on a MacBook Pro. |
