The Christmas season continues with today’s liturgy for The Holy Family 2018 (Exsultet gaudio pater Justi).   This feast was celebrated last Sunday in the Novus Ordo liturgies.

Recommended listening for the week is the phenomenal CD from the Hillier Ensemble, The Christmas Story.  I’m playing this recording in the background again this week as I type this weekly update.  One of my alltime favorite Christmas CDs.  If you have an SACD player, getting the SACD version and listening to this recording in high resolution is quite a treat.  The recording is performed by the Theatre of Voices, Ars Nova Copenhagen and directed by Paul Hillier.
